Every Spiritual Blessing

The apostle Paul wrote these words to the Church in Ephesus while he was in prison at Rome. Paul says that God not only blesses us with worldly things but He has also blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ. Our God blesses us with everything. In Genesis 1:27-28, when God created human beings as male and female, He blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply.” To be fruitful and multiply, simply means to be in a state of well-being, to have good health, success and increase, even against all odds.
God wants to bless you, no matter what your present situation is. When Cain killed his brother Abel, he received a curse from God. But he also received an assurance from God, that if anyone tried to kill him, God’s vengeance would fall on him sevenfold. In addition, God blessed him and he built a city and had a child, whom he called Enoch. Cain is a perfect example of how a cursed man can receive blessings from God. Our God whom we serve, is a God of Love. The Bible says in 1 John 4:8, that God is love, and God who blessed Cain in love, will surely bless you.
Before the foundation of the world, God chose us in Christ for every spiritual blessing. These are the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. He has also given us the boldness to enter into His holy presence, through the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross. The spiritual blessings promised to us have no limits. All we have to do is ask and we shall receive!

Dear God, my Father, who chose me in Christ for every spiritual blessing, I praise Your wonderful name and I thank You for everything You have done, You are doing and You are going to do for me. I believe that I will receive every spiritual blessing promised to me in Your Word. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
