You are a Masterpiece
We have heard the phrase, ‘God is love’. What is profound and what really exemplifies His love for us is how He created us. God, in all His glory, created everything. He spoke and it came into existence. He said, "Let there be light”; and there was light (Genesis 1:3). There was power in His words and that is how almost everything around us came into existence. When it came to creating man, God decided to make him from the dust of the ground, like a potter sculpting a vessel.
Imagine a fashion designer who has a fashion line. To meet the market needs, he may give his clothes’ designs to a warehouse for production. But when a celebrity client comes along, it’s a different story. The designer will carefully choose the finest fabric, probably imported from the best manufacturers. He may redesign the wardrobe repeatedly and will ensure that everything is top- notch. Most importantly, the designer’s passion will show in that masterpiece. And, of course, that garment will bear his mark. Similarly, God created a masterpiece in each of us and we bear the likeness and image of God.
Scripture says, He breathed into his (man’s) nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. After Adam was created, his eyes first saw God, so close to him, face to face. What a sight it must have been!
I really hope, as we mature in our walk with God, we can understand the love He has bestowed on us, so that we in turn, can love the world the way Christ loved!
Prayer
Dear Father, thank You for wonderfully creating me in Your own image. Thank You for the love You have bestowed on my life. Help me to understand how vast, how beautiful Your love is, so I may in turn, reciprocate this love to the world. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
