Come to the Father
No matter your weakness or failure, never hesitate to come to our awesome Father God. Borrow from His divine strength, and then honor and praise the source of that strength. Let’s be taught by the parable of the prodigal son. Not only is the forgiving love of the Father taught there, but it’s also about a son who, having flouted his disregard for his father at first, later remembers and acknowledges the source of his security.
The return to his home was wonderful, but more awesome than the place was the person who welcomed him—his father. As the prodigal came to his earthly father, so we are invited to come to our heavenly Father.
