The Heart of God
God doesn’t need “more to do.” After all, He has a universe to administer. He has places to go and things to do. He has legions of angels flashing through the cosmos at the speed of thought doing His bidding on missions our minds can’t even conceive. But wonder of wonders, He not only stepped down to our dust-speck planet to save us from our sins and the sentence of death, He continually steps into our lives as Redeemer. He continues to hear and respond when we cry out to Him from the quicksand of our circumstances.
He redeems because it is in the great heart of God to redeem.
