[Speak the Name] the Name of JesusSample
A Strong Tower
A popular thought is that “all roads lead to God.” This is not true. This lie of the devil allows people to live in confusion and chaos, but there's only one way to forgiveness, freedom, and friendship with God, and that is through the door, Jesus Christ. There is no other way. It’s not religion, works, or morality. It’s Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Salvation doesn’t come through the church; it’s not about joining one.
I love the church. I love it so much, but it can’t save me. Sometimes, when my heart is breaking, I need to be around the church. I need to be around God’s people, praying with them, singing with them, being encouraged by them. But we can hurt each other. That’s an unfortunate reality; we’re broken. We’re in the process of sanctification. We haven’t got it all figured out yet; we don’t have it together. That’s why we need Jesus.
God loves you. He’s pursuing you day in and day out. He is a Father who runs to the prodigal (Luke 15:20). God chased after Jonah (Jonah 1:17). His heart is for Nineveh (Jonah 4:11). He’s interested in mercy, justice, and righteousness. The righteous are constantly in pursuit of God. They are constantly yielding and surrendering to Christ. They are daily engaging in battle with sin. They are declaring the name of Jesus. The name of the Lord is a strong tower for the righteous (Proverbs 18:10).
Contrary to popular belief, coming to Jesus doesn’t make everything in your life perfect. You aren’t going to build a mansion or get an expensive car. Your family is not, all of a sudden, going to be perfect. They’re not perfect, but at church, we’re going to love them, pray for them, speak the name of Jesus over them, and desperately beg God to instill righteousness in the heart of our kids.
It’s in Jesus, in His name, that we find peace for our anxiety. He Himself is our peace (Ephesians 2:14). We find our rescue in Jesus. We obtain our salvation only through Jesus. There is one name above all other names, the name of Jesus. There is no other name that can save us.
Jesus, I look to You for my salvation. Help me to recognize when I am relying on myself, my efforts, or other people when I should be looking to You.

About this Plan
The name of Jesus is so powerful. In Him, and in His name, we have everything we absolutely need for life. In Him, we find our meaning, reason, and purpose. This plan and series go over many of the Scriptures that teach us the meaning of the name above all names.
