Advent in Exile - Christmas Longing With Isaiah

DAY 33 OF 35

He could not remain silent. "They shall never hold their peace, day nor night." St. Augustine was committed continually to be either praying or preaching, talking to God for people in prayer or talking for God to people. Today’s passage compels us to share the glorious message of Jesus’ love to everyone. He is our all in all. Jesus changes everything. Salvation is in Jesus alone.

Maybe you are asking, " Who is this Jesus? Is He truly the Son of God? How can He save me when I have done all these things in my life?" The truth is God loves us so much that He bridged the separation between people and Himself when He sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sins. This is the why we celebrate the birth of Jesus with incredible passion. His life was the gift that saved our lives.

Rejoice, beloved, the Eternal High Priest brings us salvation which purifies us, and we are saved. We are called “The holy people.” We await the day the Lion of the Tribe of Judah will return to claim His beloved bride. Is not that the best news we have ever heard?

"In Light of this Advent Season, what is your heart longing for?"
