Weapon 2: God's Word

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. Proverbs 31:15 (KJV)

God's Word is strong meat for our household. In the night, during moments of sorrow over our children and periods of weakness, let's remember that God's Word is meat for the spirit, soul, and body. Let's speak God's Word over/in challenging times. Let’s consider this scripture, "strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Hebrews 5:14 (KJV) Feeding our household God's Word will help everyone in our household discern good and evil in these last days. God’s Word nourishes the spirit, soul, and body (Proverbs 4:22).

Let's give God’s Word as meat to our household when night terrors arise, peer pressure tries to derail our children, and the enemy tries to steal our peace, kill our dreams, and destroy the works of our hands. As we study and meditate on God's Word, we position ourselves to always walk in the light even in dark times (Proverbs 4:18; Psalm 119:105). When we repeatedly lean on God's Word in every season, we enhance our capacity to skillfully use God’s Word to defeat whatever comes against us and those in our sphere of influence. That's spiritual intelligence!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the life-changing power of your Word. In the name of Jesus, open my spiritual eyes to understand your Word and destroy whatever hinders me from accessing divine revelation from your Word. Father, let your Word mix with faith in my heart and stir up the zeal for your Word. Thank you for answering my prayer! Alleluia!
