Reasonable DoubtSample

There's something meaningful about a friend who is there for you during a difficult time in your life. They take the time to care for you, bring you your favorite snacks, and listen to you. Most of the time, we can expect friends to show up for us, but when they go the extra mile and remember the anniversary of a sad day, or surprise us "just because," these unexpected moments are the ones we cherish the most.

Just like our friends, Jesus can show up for us in unexpected ways. Jesus' disciples were in a challenging situation when caught in a bad storm. Even though Jesus was probably the last person they would expect to see, he shows up in an amazing way. Not only does Jesus show up, but he calms them down with his words and presence.

Today pray that you would be open to the unexpected ways that Jesus could be present with you. Be extra observant of where you see Jesus.
