Success & Purposeful Living for You!

If a successful life = having achieved or accomplished what you set out to do, then what is an unsuccessful life? What does it look or feel like?

Here are the images that spring to mind:

Frustration, anguish, regrets, quiet desperation, agony, despair, failure, unbearable to have around, dying with all the potential I was born with...

Those images send shivers down my spine and probably yours too, right?

What's worse is knowing that as believers we have been given what it takes to be successful. We've been given the keys to the kingdom!

Yet even believers struggle to be successful! What's more frustrating than knowing you were blessed with exactly what you need to make your God-given dreams a reality but having no idea how to bring it to fruition??

Do you know that living a life of purpose honours God and brings Him glory? It's also a pretty handy tool for evangelism

There are so many keys littered throughout that bible that will enable you to live a life of success and purpose as God has planned for you. Today, I'd like to share one of those keys with you.

Here it is:

Priorities + Purpose = Godly Success

The bible puts it like this:

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When you seek God first (priority) and His righteousness (purpose), He gives you all that you need (Godly success) and more.

Sounds simple right?

Well, it is! And the more I study the word of God, the more I realise how simple these “keys” are. Everything we need for life and godliness has already been given to us but the flesh and desires of the world blind us. (2 Peter 1:2-3)

When we put God first, He begins to reveal to us our purpose and the pathway to success through Him.

I love this scripture, but there are sooooo many more that teach us these simple keys to Godly success.

So, I have a question for you now. What does Godly success look like to you?

• Living a life of abundance in Him?
• Being filled with joy?
• Living life by God's design and not according to the dictates of man?
• Winning souls and transforming lives for Jesus?
• Facilitating God's kingdom here on earth?
• Financing Kingdom business?
• Making a significant different in the lives of others for the glory of God?

Well, I think it can be all those things and if you are intentional and purposeful in deepening your relationship with God and growing your skills and talents, you can learn how you can convert what you picked from the list above to become your reality.

Remember:

1. Godly success starts with God.
2. God has already placed inside of you all you need for life and godliness, to make a difference in "your world" and to fulfil your God-given purpose.
