Words Are GoldenSample
Faith
To have faith is to believe and trust in God.
Jesus tells us that even faith as tiny as a mustard seed can move mountains. That is truly how powerful it is to have faith in who God is and what He is capable of. A mustard seed's average size is 2.5mm. That is the amount of faith that Jesus asks us to have. Yet, so often, we can begin to not trust God and try to take control of things on our own. We can easily begin to believe what the world tells us to be true rather than believe in the truth of the Word of God. So often I have caught myself placing my faith in people, worldly situations, and things I think will not let me down. But they end up never satisfying because my faith needs to first and foremost be rooted in God.
If we try to have faith in man or even in our own selves we will constantly be let down. But if we have true faith in God, faith in His promises, and who He says He is to us, we will see miracles, experience His presence, and overcome the trials and hardships in front of us. We can trust Him. His Word is the truth and it will never fail us. We can have full faith that the Lord will fulfill His promises to us. We can have full faith that the Lord knows what is best for our lives. And we can have full faith that the Lord will never leave us all of the days of our lives.
Pray: Lord I want to place my full faith in you today. Your word is what I cling to and what I place my faith in. Thank you for your faithfulness to me.
About this Plan
This 5-day reading plan will explore different words, their meanings, what the Lord says about them, and how you can go and speak them over yourself and others. Knowing what a word means gives us a deeper understanding of how it is used in the Bible and how we can implement what the Bible says about it in our lives. God's word and your words are golden!
