An Unexpected Encounter

DAY 4 OF 5

Your testimony causes revival

One of the barriers that Jesus came to break is one that limited us from worshipping God in any place.

Before, people had specific physical places set aside for worship. As we read the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman, we can see that God wants us to worship Him wholeheartedly, in spirit and in truth, no matter where we are.

Therefore, there is no longer anything that can limit our worship to God, not our past, our mistakes, or our physical location. As we worship him wholeheartedly, he continues to transform us.

In John 4:25-26, when Jesus reveals himself as the Messiah, he has an encounter with a woman who was apparently of little value to society, and he has one of the longest recorded conversations with her. In verses 28 to 39 we see the fruit of this encounter, because thanks to this Samaritan woman, many believed.

Jesus can do much more than you think with your story, even if it seems of little impact. He created and allowed each day you have lived with a purpose in mind. Do not underestimate the power of your testimony, because many people can be transformed and encouraged to continue walking thanks to him. Be encouraged to share what God has done in your life. You never know how much you can impact someone else.

We all need a word of encouragement, good advice, and to be reminded of God's power and grace. It is from our story that we can share what he did in our life and challenge others. Don't limit yourself. Everything you have experienced can be a message of hope for someone else.

Be encouraged to share the love of Jesus so that others can also have an encounter with him.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for every experience that you have allowed me to go through. I do not want to waste any of my story. Use me to impact this generation. I want to see lives transformed by your power. Amen.
