All Things New

Sometimes we get stuck in old mindsets and limitations that have been passed down to us. That’s why it’s important to stop and reevaluate our lives at times. Why are you doing what you are doing? Do you feel limited—that you’ll never be able to afford that nice house, get the promotion, or break that addiction? Could it be that you’re letting what’s been passed down to keep you from stepping up to who you were created to be?

God is always doing something new. Come up higher in your walk with Him. Spend more time with Him. Talk to Him in your thoughts all through the day. Be willing to change what He says needs to change. Be willing to try something new. Don’t stay stuck in your ways. Walk away from a bad attitude, walk away from that person who’s poisoning your future, walk away from compromise, from doing things that are holding you back. Let God give you a new vision, fresh creativity, and open new doors for an amazing future.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that I can leave behind any negative mindsets and make room for the new things You want to bring into my life. Thank You that this is a new day to break free from limitations. Help me to get unstuck from the daily rut and not expecting anything better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
