Reflection

Over these last days, we have seen how this idea of the Faith of God is not an idea at all - it is a truth, a reality to be discovered and unveiled to every believer.

Pause there.

How have you grown in this over the last few days?

Introspection

So often, the question “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” is asked with the intention for listeners to internally answer “no one!” because how on earth is it possible that we, simple people, created beings get to understand and instruct the author of life, the creator of galaxies and all within them? Right?

We must answer that question with Paul’s response if we are to live fully alive to God in Christ Jesus! We must say “BUT!”

Because we are recipients of the mind of Christ, we are therefore brought into the inner circle of relationship with the Godhead. That doesn’t mean we understand absolutely everything about everything. The human brain literally cannot contain every piece of information, data, historical or future record. However, the mind of Christ is awake in our spirit. Maturity in faith does not look like a large ship sailing on stormy waves in the sea. Maturity in faith looks like a rock on the coast. Whether the sea is calm and still or rough and stormy, it stands firm and solid and certain despite the beating of the storm.

Know that though this was 2000 years ago, the same peace, the same commission, and the same gift of the Holy Spirit are yours as the inheritance of the Father’s faith in the work of Jesus.

What now?

Thank Him! Surrender your life - Spirit, Soul, and Body - to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Invite Him to baptise you in His Holy Spirit. Follow the sense of feeling the Holy Spirit.

Expect Him to mould you and use you. Invite God to make Himself real to you right now. Let truth reign in your mind, heart, and physical body because this is confirmation of the Faith of God that has made you come alive.
