Making a Stand

DAY 1 OF 6

God Is Raising an Army

Our world is presently engaged in the greatest conflict in human history. Because the population of the world is greater than it has ever been, the stakes in this spiritual war are the highest they have ever been. This is a battle between light and darkness, good and evil, integrity and corruption, the holy and profane, the pure and impure, and pride and humility. It is a battle between the Lord of Hosts and the prince of darkness. Earth is the setting for the ancient battle of Lucifer and his angels against the living God and His angels. Like it or not, your life, along with the lives of more than 7.5 billion other people, is both the arena for this battle and the goal of the conquest.

The spiritual war around us is increasing in intensity. Many will simply be overwhelmed by the forces of darkness without even putting up a fight. However, God is raising up and equipping a group of believers for the epic struggle of the Last Days. They will be part of God’s spiritual army. They will stand up, answer the call, and engage the enemy. As in Ezekiel’s vision, they will emerge from the dry bones of defeated, powerless religion into a dynamic, effective life in Christ. They will be infused with God’s Word. They will be animated by God’s breath and wind. In Ezekiel’s vision, a valley of very dry, dead bones represented the hopes and aspirations of God’s people. God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones, and he did as God commanded. They came to life and stood up on their feet, forming a vast army.

Today, God is raising up a resurrected army like the one Ezekiel saw. They’ve heard the Word of the Lord, they’ve experienced the breath of God, and they will rise. As one, they will stand up and stand their ground to witness amazing supernatural victories. Out of the ashes of defeat and the valley of hopelessness, they will rise and make a stand for God’s Kingdom.

About this Plan

Making a Stand

In the Bible, God repeatedly calls His servants to stand. Gideon, David, Elisha, Hezekiah and many others trusted in God and stood on the truth of His Word. Their example can give you the inspiration to obey God’s call to remain firm in your faith and make your stand for Him.
