God wins. Evil loses.

We don’t know everything about it, but the Bible tells us there is a real, spiritual war going on right now between God’s kingdom and the kingdom of evil. The Bible also tells us that God, the ruler over everything, is in control. He’s already won the war.

When we trust and follow Jesus, we’re fighting on God’s side. We can put on each piece of God’s powerful armor to stand strong when evil attacks! Imagine putting on each piece of armor, and read the ways they can help you during evil attacks.

The belt of truth: God’s truth sets you free from the lies of the enemy.

The breastplate of righteousness: Choose to do what is right to protect your heart from sin.

The shoes of God’s peace: No matter what’s going on around you, you don’t need to be afraid, stressed out, or worried because you follow Jesus.

The shield of faith: Believe in God only, and don’t believe the lies and bad thoughts evil shoots at you.

The helmet of salvation: Salvation (choosing to trust and follow Jesus) protects your mind and changes your mind to think God’s way.

The sword of the Spirit: When you speak the words from God’s Bible, it’s like cutting the enemy with a sharp, double-edged sword.

Prayer: Pray in the power of God’s Holy Spirit all the time about everything, for yourself and for other people.
