Invisible WorldSample
We’ve got God’s angels on our side.
Elisha obeyed God and shared messages with the King of Israel to keep Israel safe. But the Arameans were angry with Elisha for doing that! They sent their armies to capture him.
When the armies showed up at Elisha’s house, Elisha’s servant was afraid, but Elisha was not. That’s because Elisha knew about something his servant couldn’t see—surrounding them was an army of fierce angels ready to fight.
Elisha prayed, and God opened the servant’s eyes to see the armies of angels. That was amazing! But you know what’s even more amazing? God’s armies of angels are always surrounding you and protecting you when you follow Jesus, even if you never see them with your eyes!
Talk It Over: What do you think the servant thought when God showed him the army of angels? What would you do if God showed you an angel? When you read about Elisha and the angels, what did it make you think about angels?
