Lord, as I reflect on this prayer journey, I thank You for helping me grow in thankfulness, rejoicing, and prayer. May that growth continue.

Far from these verses presenting us with three impossible commands, they provide creative support for a simple rule of life, one which is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus.

Being in union with Jesus through His indwelling Holy Spirit enables us to grow in obedience to these calls: to rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances.
