A Simple Rule: 40-Day Prayer JourneySample
Rejoice always
Jesus, I praise You. You are Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Salvation and glory and power belong to You.
The call to rejoice is not a call to ignore or neutralize our God-given emotions of sorrow or pain. The rejoicing he encourages goes together with hope; it doesn’t mean that everything is already just as we would like. We hope because Jesus is now enthroned as Lord, and we are His people.
