Jesus Is the Perfect Image of God

Hebrews 1:3

The Son shows the glory of God. He is a perfect copy of God’s nature, and He holds everything together by His powerful command.

We have learnt that God used to speak to His people through His prophets, like Elijah, Isaiah, or Ezekiel. However, ever since Jesus came to earth, God has been speaking to His people through Jesus. All that Jesus said was written in the Bible.

Jesus is a perfect copy of God’s nature. Just like a photocopy image that has the exact look of the original image, Jesus also expresses the very characters of God.

Jesus is God and does what only God can do. He created the world out of nothing. He upholds the universe by the power of His word. He is the exact imprint of God’s nature.

At the same time, Jesus is also a human who understands all kinds of feelings that we feel as humans! If we are to understand anything about God, He must reveal Himself to us! God reveals Himself to us through Jesus and His word. We must trust the greatest word given to us by Jesus Himself.
