52 Bible Verses to Teach Your KidsSample

I love it when God spells out things in the Bible specifically for us. Often God calls us to follow in faith without always seeing, but in today’s verse, God gives us specific things He desires from us. To act justly, which is to do what’s right. To love mercy, which is to have a bend towards showing grace. To engage with God in humility, which means to look to God as your ultimate authority. Do those simple things and watch God’s favor flow in your life.
QUESTIONS
How do you know what is the right thing to do? Is there someone who made you mad that you need to show mercy?
CONFESSION
I will do what is biblically right. I will show mercy to others. I will submit to God and His Word.

About this Plan

Each of these 52 Bible verses is formative to our understanding of God, the world, and our lives. Read the devotional with your child. Ask them the question and have them read the confession out loud. If they are old enough, they can read it, but they can help them understand the verse and how it applies to their lives.
