All For His GlorySample

Notice the heading for today’s passage is when David is in the wilderness, running for his life from Saul who wanted to kill him. In the midst of this, David chooses to worship God. It is because David has experienced the glory of the Lord before that he is able to choose to worship in his bleak circumstances.
Remember that situation we brought before the Lord yesterday? Let’s bring it before him again today but this time why not think back on a time that the Lord has revealed his glory to you. If you feel as if you have never experienced God’s glory, why not pray Moses’ prayer of ‘show me your glory’ (Exodus 33:18)? As we are reminded of how we have seen God’s glory in the past, let’s again choose to trust Him in these situations in prayer.

About this Plan

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
