All For His GlorySample

Just as Daniel and his friends refused to eat the king’s food, the story today follows a similar pattern. The difference with the reading today is that the cost is much higher for refusal to do what is being asked. However just as the cost is higher, the ability for God’s glory to be seen is more visible. As the three friends stand resolute in their commitment to the Lord, Nebuchadnezzar again worships their God.
Perhaps as you reflect using S.O.A.P. today you might think of a difficult situation or decision you are making. Let’s place this situation into the hands of the Lord today and remind ourselves that we are here to display his glory. Let’s pray and trust in him.

About this Plan

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
