Here are more ideas to discover the true Treasure of Christmas:       

• Host a Christmas Cookie Party. Bake some treats, then bless loved ones with special Holiday Treat Trays. It’s a great way to encourage others.        
• Lovingly witness to others. Ask Jesus to show you who needs to hear about His love!        
• Send Christmas cards to loved ones. Keep every Christmas card you receive and pray for each sender throughout the new year.        
• Teach your children the constellations. Share how Jesus loves them more than all the stars in the sky; that He knows how many hairs are on their head; how His thoughts of them are more numerous than all the sand on the beach. Bake Christmas Star cookies and pass them out as you share how much Jesus loves them, too.       
• Volunteer at church, the Salvation Army Angel Tree, a food drive, or shelter.    
• Encourage someone who needs it.        
• Do Advent together as a family. YouVersion offers many Advent reading plans.    
• Have fun purchasing or making gifts for loved ones. When giving gifts to your children, share how special it is that even though it’s Jesus‘ birthday – He loves us so much, He allows us to receive and open gifts on HIS special day. Give Jesus all the credit for meaningful gifts.        
• Purchase a Bible. As you read through it, highlight important verses and write special insights the Lord shares with you...everything God is teaching you. Include special photos carefully tucked in between the pages and gift it to your child, grandchild, or family member. It's an incredible, lasting legacy to give to a special loved one to be treasured in the years to come.        
• Don't sweat the small stuff. As much as possible, give loved ones grace. Christmas is a great time to celebrate and appreciate family. The holidays are a great time to let everyone know how special they are and how much we care about them. Create ways for all family members to feel loved, accepted, appreciated, celebrated, included, and deeply treasured...just like Jesus does with all of us.        
• Have a weekly day of enjoying Jesus. To know, love, treasure, and serve the Lord is the best adventure, luxury, and privilege on earth! Thoroughly enjoy each day with the One who loves you most!
