Reset Your Faith: A 5-Day Devotional if Your Faith Is DeconstructingSample

Reset Your Faith: A 5-Day Devotional if Your Faith Is Deconstructing

DAY 3 OF 5

Is It Possible for Me to Go Back to a Place of Real Faith?

I never thought I was one of those people who would struggle with their faith. I never imagined I would ever be tempted to quit the faith. I assumed that if I started well and did all the right things, life as a Christian would be smooth sailing.

Over the years I’ve wanted to quit my church. I’ve wanted to quit my small group. I’ve wanted to quit the ministry. But today I’m walking in faith again. I am trusting in God’s goodness even though I don’t have all the answers yet.

Fractures only cause permanent deformities if they aren’t treated correctly. But under the right kind of care, every fracture can be reset and heals beautifully. And every faith that has deconstructed can be rebuilt into something stronger.

You are not stuck in your painful circumstances. Your suffering is not a slammed door but a gateway to your future. Your pain won’t always rule your life.

The tipping point back to God doesn’t always come in form of a tsunami. Sometimes, it’s the whisper of a yes to God that sets everything back in motion. Faith and the Christian life usually boils down to your yesses starting with that moment you received Jesus into your heart. Somehow, we complicate the Christian life. We overthink surrender. We look for signs. We wait for some miracle to take place when all while the Christian life boils down to one word: yes!

Your future depends on your willingness to say yes to God and your yes hinges on your belief in the goodness of God.

Will you say yes to God right now?

Will you trust him enough to believe in His goodness towards you?

Will you believe that the best is yet to come?

Your fractured faith is treatable, and it starts the moment you whisper yes to God.

About this Plan

Reset Your Faith: A 5-Day Devotional if Your Faith Is Deconstructing

I never thought I was one of those people who would struggle with their faith. But the disappointments, hurt by other Christians, and questions about God had caused my faith to fracture. Yet fractures only cause permanent deformities if they aren’t treated correctly. Under the right kind of care, every fracture can be reset and heal beautifully. And every faith that has been deconstructed can be rebuilt into something stronger.
