How to Overcome AnxietySample
After creating this world, God said that there was only one thing that was not good – Adam was alone. God created us for community.
Many people could fix their depression by taking this vital action – overcoming isolation.
Isolation makes you feel like people are the problem. Remaining like this makes you an easy target. In warfare, isolation often precedes defeat. It develops awkwardness in your gestures and interpersonal skills, and it leads to more isolation.
No hunter can fix his aim on a swift-moving pack or a herd of animals. The enemy wants to isolate you from the herd of believers. You were never created to live alone.
When snowflakes come together, they shut down freeways, shut down schools, and flip semi-trucks. Together they are a force. But a single snowflake can do nothing. The Bible says, "where 2 or 3 are gathered..." Not just you and your phone.
Get out of the house, go be with family, grab coffee with a friend, go to that church you've been avoiding – be with a community.
Let's Pray:
Lord, I know I was not made to live life alone. Could You help me find meaningful relationships? Help me to connect with other believers as I take a step of faith to get out of any isolation in my life.
