How to Overcome AnxietySample
Are you exercising?
Studies found that patients who did the equivalent of 35 minutes of walking six days a week experienced a reduction in their level of depression by 47%. In addition, the proven benefits of exercise in treating or preventing depression extend to even moderate physical activity such as gardening, walking the dog, or cleaning your house.
The Bible tells us that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. As His place of residence, we must make sure our temple is taken care of, and exercising is a great way to care for it.
Begin to partake in small, daily tasks that can increase your activity levels. You'll begin to notice how anxiety, stress, and fogginess in the mind begin to decrease.
The benefits of exercise are the following:
1) weight control
2) boosts brainpower
3) melts away stress
4) gives energy
5) fights off sickness
6) creates a stronger heart
7) reduces biomarkers of aging
8) improves eyesight.
It only takes 10 minutes a day of exercise to make a difference.
Let's Pray:
God, I thank You for this new day of life. I desire to care for Your temple. Give me the strength to take care of my body both spiritually and physically.
