Fear/less Pt. 2: The Cross Transforms the StormSample

This past year has been defined by a season of storms for many, not just here in the US, but globally. We’ve all weathered numerous storms unleashed by COVID - uncertainty and fear, loss of jobs, loss of life, stay-at-home orders, racial injustice, political division, and much more. While God doesn’t necessarily bring about the storms in our lives, He can and does use the storms to bring about something powerful in our lives. God can transform the storms that we are facing, and when He meets us in the storms, we witness His incredible power. 

In Mark 5, Jesus meets a man, who has been possessed by an unclean spirit and is living in the mountains and tombs. In one encounter with Jesus, the man is freed from the unclean spirit and his life is immediately changed. His life is a testimony of the change Jesus can achieve in our lives; change that could not be achieved by people, or the system, or even the physical chains, in this instance.
