Break TrailSample
Being a human being can have its challenging moments. We've spent a lot of time talking about God's mission this week, but what if we're not ready? What if we're hoping this entire process starts slowing down or moves to the next person in line? Does that make us bad? Does being afraid, or even uninterested, disqualify us from the team? Well, sometimes, we also struggle with following God's plan and mission for our life because we know our weaknesses. We try to hide our scars and failures, hoping no one sees the real us.
What does God do with all that mess? Can God still help us to follow the plan for our lives? Is God able to see past all the junk to find the treasure inside each of us? Absolutely! Just because we're doing our best to live out God's mission in our lives doesn't mean we have to be perfect. And just because we're not perfect doesn't mean we can't live out that mission. The Bible is filled with all kinds of people, and God used them because of their struggles.
How can you find God's strength in your weaknesses?

About this Plan
If you're a hiker, you know a trail-breaker is someone who walks ahead, makes a new way, and invites others to follow. That's exactly what Jesus did for us. He broke a new trail with his birth, his life, his teachings, and then with his death and resurrection. In this 30-day devotional series designed for Lent, we’ll see how Jesus showed us a new way of living and knowing God.
