I Have Questions

DAY 19 OF 20

"Don't worry about it!" "Just get over it!" "Cheer up!" Has anyone ever said this to you when you were feeling anxious? These words might be easy to say, but sometimes worry is all you can do. When life has given you a lot to juggle with family, school, friendships, or work, it's normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious sometimes. We all worry — you shouldn't have to pretend like everything is fine when it isn't.

If you've ever had a moment when you wished you could curl into a ball and cry until your head hurts, or bury yourself underneath your blankets and pretend your worries didn't exist, it's okay! But you shouldn't keep those worries bottled up. It's not easy to surrender all of those anxious thoughts and emotions to God in prayer, but it's so worth it. It's the first step to finding some release from all the worries we've been holding onto. After that, try sharing them with a person you trust too.

What worries are you currently holding onto? Who can you share these worries with?
