I Have Questions

DAY 18 OF 20

Have you ever stood near a roller coaster and heard some terrified person screaming for their mom? Okay, be honest — has that person ever been you? It's nothing to be ashamed of. It's like a rite of passage. No matter how old you are, or how tough you are, the feeling of your body flying through the air at 80 miles an hour on a metal (or even scarier — wooden) track is pretty terrifying. It's definitely okay to cry out to mom or dad. Really!

Just like crying out to your loved ones is okay when you're feeling like life is a little out of control, so is crying out to God. When you are scared, tired, weak, frustrated, lonely, hopeless, sad, or anxious, cry out to God. When you are joyful, ecstatic, happy, grateful, rejoicing, jubilant, worshiping or elated, cry out to God then too. Whether you cry out from a place of despair or joy, God hears you. Today, let out all of your feelings in prayer and see what happens.

What can you scream out to God (as loud as you can) today?
