God’s Love Is Immeasurable
Ephesians 3:18b
I pray that you can understand how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.
Through a vision, God took Ezekiel to the Most Holy Place of God’s Temple. The walls were 6 cubits or 2.74 meters thick on each side. The door was 10 cubits or 4.57 meters wide. The room itself was 18.29 meters long and 9.14 meters wide.
The vision shows that there is a certain measurement for certain things. A baker uses a measuring cup to measure the right amount of flour to bake a cake. A designer uses a measuring tape to measure the length of the dress he is designing. A coach uses a stopwatch to measure how fast the runners run.
Have you ever measured God’s love for you? For sure, there is no measuring cup, measuring tape nor stopwatch that can measure God’s love for us. God’s love is immeasurable.
God’s love is so great that we can in no way measure it. It is limitless. There are not enough words to describe it either. His love is deeper than the ocean and higher than the heaven.
Prayer
Dear God, I thank You for Your love is eternal, unconditional and immeasurable despite all my failure and brokenness. Amen.
