Do Not Cheat
Ezekiel 45:10a
Stop cheating people.
Everyone loves playing games. Games always end with winners and losers. It feels great when you are the winner and it doesn’t feel so good when you lose. How do you cope with losing? You might start to think that if only you had done this and that, you could have won. Someone who is not able to accept losing might be tempted to cheat in order to win.
In general, cheating is breaking the rules and being dishonest in order to easily get something that one wants. However, there is always a consequence of cheating, such as being given a fail mark, being disqualified, or even being expelled from a team or an institution.
When you are feeling tempted to cheat in any situation, ask God to give you strength to stay truthful. Just keep doing the right thing and trust Him. God sees it and He appreciates your truthfulness.
Prayer
Dear God, I want to stay truthful and obey You. Help me to stay strong to resist the temptation to cheat. Amen.
