Day Five - I Can Make Good Choices

This week we are going to be looking at how ‘I Can Make Good Choices!’

READ: Jonah 2

So after the sailors threw Jonah overboard, a big fish came and swallowed the prophet and he spent three days inside the fish's belly. 

God sent the fish to swallow Jonah and to keep him safe.... and guide him back in the right direction. 

Read 1 Corinthians 10:13 again - you see God will always help us! 

ASK:

Can you think of a time when God has helped you or someone you know? 

Maybe God didn’t send a giant fish, but He did send someone or something to help you? 

God is always good and always wants the best for us - that’s why we can ask Him to help us make good choices. 

REMEMBER:

Isaiah 43:19:

"Look at the new thing I am going to do.

It is already happening. Don’t you see it?

I will make a road in the desert.

I will make rivers in the dry land."

SAY:

Thank you, Lord, that you have created me uniquely and wonderfully.  

Help me to love you and everyone you have placed in my life and 

to become more like you every day - in Jesus' name - Amen.
