I Have Questions - Why Is Money So Complicated?

DAY 2 OF 7

What’s your favorite thing to eat at lunch? Imagine if you shared that thing you loved so much with someone else just because you knew they liked it. Or even better, imagine if someone else shared their favorite food with you? See, when food is passed across the table with no exchange necessary, people watch in amazement. Not only does it impact the people who see it happen or the person who gets the gift, but the person who shares it feels good, too. You and I have the opportunity to share all the time (and I’m not just talking about food). Have you told your friends how much you appreciate them lately? Have you invited the loner student to your lunch table? Have you shared your faith with someone who feels hopeless? When was the last time you helped clean the house without your parents asking?

This week, think about ways you can be generous with the people around you. Watch how the people around you are impacted. And pay attention to how blessed that makes YOU feel!

About this Plan

I Have Questions - Why Is Money So Complicated?

One thing is for sure; our feelings about money can get complicated. We need money because money matters, which means our attitude about money matters, too. These devotionals will help us check our perspectives on what’s necessary, what’s temporary, and what’s eternal. Remember: there are some things money can’t buy; or in other words you can own money, or money can own you.
