God Knows Everything

Isaiah 55:9

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways.

According to the dictionary, a "thought" is an idea or opinion produced by thinking or occurring suddenly in the mind. Our thoughts are influenced by our emotions, people around us and even circumstances that we cannot control. Our thoughts influence the way we speak, behave and make decisions. At times, when we are not careful, our thoughts can lead us astray and down a path of sin and disobedience to God. 

God’s ways and thoughts are different from our human ways and thoughts. His thoughts are pure and righteous, holy and perfect. He sees the whole thing and things that we cannot see. 

There are times when we cannot understand His thoughts and ways because our thought is limited, but God’s thought is so wide and limitless. There is always a great plan in every direction God leads us. Above all, God holds the authority in every area of our life. His ways and thoughts are always the best. We must always remember this.

Prayer

Dear God, knowing that Your ways aren't my ways gives me assurance. I am putting all my faith and trust in Your ways. Amen.
