Bible Explorer for the Young (Isaiah - Part 3)

DAY 4 OF 14

He Loves You

Isaiah 53:12b

He willingly gave His life. He was treated like a criminal. But He carried away the sins of many people. And He asked forgiveness for those who sinned.

There are times when you just feel awful without knowing the reason. The deep part of your heart feels horrible. You feel that your days are so boring. And the worst case is, you feel so unworthy. In other words, you feel that you are not good enough compared to others.

You might feel you don't deserve a good friendship. You feel you don't deserve God’s blessings or kindness from others. You feel that you don’t deserve having good things in your life. If you let those negative thoughts overcome you, you can fall into despair, unhappiness and depression. This is what the devil wants to happen to God’s children.

Well, our worst day can turn into the best gift ever. How? It is when you realize and understand that Jesus can take all those negative thoughts away from you and replace them with the truth. The truth is: Jesus loves you no matter what.

Just open Your heart and receive His love. Believe that you are precious in His eyes. That’s why He was willing to sacrifice Himself on the cross for you.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, I am thankful that I am loved by You. I pray that You will wipe away all the negative thoughts in me and replace them with Your word and Your truth. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
