Bible Explorer for the Young (Jeremiah - Part 1)

DAY 2 OF 14

A Moment to Remember

Ecclesiastes 12:1

Remember your Creator while you are young. Your old age is coming when you will have many troubles. When that time comes, you won’t have much to enjoy.

This is part of the first message from God to Judah through the Prophet Jeremiah. It highlighted how Judah had begun to drift away from Him. God reminded them that at first, they were so faithful to God but after facing some challenges, they started to blame God and turn to other gods.

Are you getting bored with the piano or baseball lesson that you once used to love? Try to remember the first time you fell in love with the piano and how excited you were when you found out that your parents enrolled you in lessons. Or, try to reminisce the first time you hit the ball and did a home run on a baseball lesson!

Sometimes, due to our busy lives, we forget about God. God is always ready for us whenever we turn back to Him. God forgives us immediately when we ask for His forgiveness. God never ever changes. His love for us stays the same forever. Try to always remember God in every situation in our life.

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for the reminder. Thank You for always pulling me back to Your embrace although sometimes I forget about You. I seek Your forgiveness. Amen.
