Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

We were created to live in community. Even those of us who consider ourselves introverts, actually do need people. So, when we are required to distance ourselves socially, it can be hard. God designed us in His image to be a part of a spiritual family, the Church. We need each other. Let’s make sure to find ways to reach out to others, to those who might be lonely, and to those who are not yet a part of the family of God. Let us make the most of these lonely times to pray and spend time with the One who knows the loneliness that can creep into our hearts. He understands us better than we do ourselves because He made us. Our Maker is our friend, closer than a sibling (Proverbs 18:24), and He will never forsake us. He is Emmanuel, the One who is with us during this time.
Pray:
• For those who are lonely and disconnected.
• For opportunities to reach out and connect with others.
• That we might be able to use this time to walk alongside those who are seeking to know God.
