Today we need to hear God’s encouragement to us. Reminding us that though we are facing the enemy and are on the verge of battle, El Shaddai—Almighty God—is with us. He is going with us, fighting with us, and this is the promise – He will save us! Today we might be feeling scared at the viciousness of the enemy’s attacks, the relentless assault on all we hold dear, and the insidiousness of the harm being inflicted. We might be weary of constantly having to stay alert and fight back. We might be disheartened at the lack of resolution and perhaps hopeless that there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. But take heart, Church! Our God is Jehovah Nissi – our banner. So let us rally around Him, seek our strength and hope from Him. And stand our ground and fight, because He will save us!
Pray that:
• Our hearts and minds will be encouraged regardless of what we see.
• We will find our hope in Christ who will save us and is already the victor.
• The fear in our hearts will be replaced with unwavering faith in God.
