Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

This is the weapon we use to fight an unseen enemy – a divine armor that can extinguish all that the enemy throws at us. And the deadliest of all – the sword of the Word of God. How do we wield this sword? Pray the Word. Pray scripture. Pray the verses out loud. Pray the promises of God. Pray the assurances of His character. Saying the words out loud is doubly effective especially because we hear the words too. And while it brings the enemy to his knees trembling, it stiffens our spines and makes us stand stronger and taller, filled with the strength and confidence that comes from the Lord. And as we stand alert and watchful, praying the word into every situation, with every person, with all authority that God has given us, we will see this battle turn around as the enemy flees.

Pray that:

• We will put on the whole armor of God, every day, and engage the enemy actively.

• We will employ the word of God to bring down every wrong thought, fear, pride, and sin.

• God will strengthen us to fight every day.
