Going into action

Consider the following two questions:

1. What is the biggest decision you have ever made in your life?

Many Christians answer ‘to invite Jesus into my life’.

2. What is the best thing you can do for someone who does not know Jesus?

 ‘Lead that person to Jesus.’

Your personal story can have three main focus areas:

• What did your life you look like without Jesus?
• How did you get to know Jesus?
• What changed in your life?

Remember that the Holy Spirit is your constant Guide and He will give you the right words to share.

If you need to lead a person in a prayer of repentance, this is an example of a prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God.  I believe that you have paid the full price for my sins.  I Thank you for my forgiveness, and welcome you into my life.  I receive you as my Lord and Saviour today.  I know that my life will radically change from this day, as your blood cleanses me from my guilt and shame, and I become a partaker of the new life in you.  Today, all things become new.  From today I am a Christ follower, a son/daughter of God.  Come fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to live this new life.  Thank you Father, for your loving embrace of my life.”
