THE HOLY SPIRIT’S WORK

The Holy Spirit is speaking into the lives of those who are still currently “lost”.

God is supernaturally engaging people through the Holy Spirit, making them aware of their lostness and their need for salvation.  Before we even start a conversation with someone, we believe the Holy Spirit is already at work in a person’s life. 

John 16:8 ESV “And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: …”

The Holy Spirit is also speaking to us and gives us the right words to say in situations. 

The Holy Spirit empowers us to testify.

Acts 1:8 ESV “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Luke 12:11b-12 ESV  “Do not be anxious about how should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” 

If you ever feel intimidated or unprepared to share your testimony, take heart from the fact that the Holy Spirit empowers you and equips you to share the good news.

Find and be found in faith in Christ.

Pray for the “lost” people that you know – that they would be receptive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
