Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.Sample

Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.

DAY 3 OF 3

Our Conduct

They invaded my space before my transaction was complete. Three curious children were rearranging my items on the conveyor belt. Their weary-looking mom began asking the cashier questions as I stood there praying for wisdom on how to handle this situation.

As I recalled a verse from my morning time with God, I found my answer,  “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.” I took a deep breath, found my kindest grandmother voice, and sang out, "excuse me please" while swiftly scooting the items closer to the cashier.

For others to know we are Christians by our love, we must apply scripture to our lives. Remember our commitment to take up our cross? Walking worthy requires us to be intentional in our commitment, purposeful in our character, and respectful in our daily conduct.

There is a great deal of conduct seen and experienced in the world around us that is harsh. It’s seen in how we behave in the challenges life brings our way. How can we improve our conduct to walk worthy of the gospel of Christ?

Prayer Walking: Take notice of the people around you. Be mindful of your surroundings. Ponder how you might change your reactions in challenging situations. Pray for the strength to live out the verses we’ve covered over the past three days. And may God bless your path as you walk fit and walk worthy of Christ!

Day 2

About this Plan

Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.

All too often, we separate our physical life from our spiritual one. “Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.” integrates the physical with the spiritual through Prayer Walking. This plan shows us how to walk worthy of Christ in our commitment, conduct, and character.
