When we worship through singing to God, it’s one way that we can thank and praise him for all of the great things that he does. 

In the Bible, we are told that there will be a lot of singing and dancing in Heaven- a lot of worship!! 

The book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, was written by one of Jesus’ followers named John. God showed Heaven to John and told him about things that will happen so that John could write the book of Revelation and tell others about what the future and eternity will be like. John saw that there are angels and other creatures that are constantly praising God for all he has done and how amazing he is. Imagine a 24/7 worship to God for his awesomeness! 

Heaven will be an amazing place to worship God because it is a place that is full of his presence. For people who chose to believe in Jesus and spend eternity in Heaven with God, they will have the opportunity to join in that constant song of praise to God and worship him forever. We can start now by worshiping God here on earth. He deserves our praise now and forever in Heaven.

Challenge: Spend some time worshiping God today! Take a few minutes to write out a poem or a song to God- it doesn’t have to be long or complex. Write just a few sentences of praise to God and worship him today.
