Be Sensible
Psalm 69:6a
May those who hope in You not be disgraced because of me...
If you play with your little brother, sister, or little cousins, they will tend to follow you. They either imitate your words, your actions, or your behavior. Your parents will remind you every now and then to be a good example for them.
Very often in our lives, people remember us for what examples we have set. King David was a king and whatever he did was observed and followed by his people. He had committed a sin and he came to God to ask for forgiveness. He regretted what he had done as he knew that it was a shameful act and he had not shown a good example for his people.
It is important to be sensible in what you say and do so that your life will be a living testimony of how Jesus’s followers should live. Trust me, God will be very proud and pleased to have us as His disciples and children!
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for the reminder! Give me the wisdom to live an impactful life by being sensible in what I say and do. Amen.
