God Holds Your Right Hand

Isaiah 41:10

Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

God’s right hand is mentioned many times in the Bible. Psalm 20:6 says: The Lord gives victory to His anointed. He answers him from His heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of His right hand.

In the Bible, to be at the right side is to be identified as being in the special place of honor. The right hand of God expresses God’s power and strength; He is the place of salvation, refuge, and blessing. 

You won’t let anyone touch, let alone hold your hands unless you know that person personally and trust him/her. God taking hold of your right hand means He gives you assurance to fully trust Him. God will take you by the hand as your guide to lead you in your way, pick you up when you fall, and to encourage you when you feel weak. All these things are done by Him and by His right hand that gives us victory.

Dear God, keep holding my right hand to help, guide, and give me strength. Thank You for being there for me always. Amen.
