Devotional: SALVATION
We’re in a season where people around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus. While it is so easy to get carried away by gift lists, meal plans, decorations, the family meets, and even church events during the holiday season, let’s intentionally thank God for the beautiful gift of salvation.
In choosing to send His only Son on earth to die for our sins, God demonstrated love in the purest and truest of forms. He sacrificed Himself to save us from eternal damnation. Let’s take a moment to thank God for the Cross, for His plan to bring us back to Him, and for His relentless pursuit of our souls.
Journaling Prompt: THE CROSS
The cross is today’s prompt for your journal entry. As you creatively depict the Cross, remember to thank God for the ultimate sacrifice He made for you so that you could walk in freedom. Thank God for the gift of salvation that He freely gave you.

About this Plan
While preparing for the holidays at the end of each year, it is easy to forget to practice gratitude intentionally. Grab your journal, color pencils, paints, art and craft supplies, or maybe even just a pen and a paper; and begin a meaningful 24-day journey this Advent of practicing gratitude through creative journaling. You can also ask a group of friends to join your gratitude journaling journey!
