COURAGE
Courage isn’t always easy to find, especially in our lower moments. We often have to ask God to walk us through a valley or help us climb a mountain, but it still takes courage to step forward into his plans for us. Next steps always require courage. We think courage comes in knowing what’s next, but in Joshua 1:9, God reminds Joshua that courage isn’t about what’s next—it’s about who’s walking with you. God’s promise to Joshua and the Israelites, and then thousands of years later to us, is that he will be with us whatever we walk through. As we determine what's next and where that next step of courage will lead us, let's remember that our God is a God who can change the landscape along the way. Through it all, our struggles and our joys reflect God's glory. He is with us through the highs and the lows.
Over the next seven days, we’re going to journey to find courage and learn how to take the next steps in our faith, our careers, and our lives.
Pray – God, help me see how you’re standing with me and to remember you’re present with me.
Plan – Make a list of a few things in your life that require courage and strength to take a next step.
Pursue – Pick one of those things to specifically pray through and step into this week.
