Covered in My WombSample
Why did this happen to me?
After retaking and testing negative for Covid-19, I wondered why the virus entered my home despite praying that it would not come near my home. I think it is simply human to wonder why and ask questions. Was there something I needed to repent of? Did self-righteousness or unforgiveness give room to sickness? Or was it just part of life? I was doing a heart check and I needed the Word of God to bring to light any darkness in me.
I was not mad at God. I was reflecting and needed a Word from God. I believe that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him (1 Thessalonians 5:18, Romans 8:28).
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God~2 Corinthians 1:3-4. That was the Bible verse given to me.
My family’s affliction and God’s comfort and healing positioned us to comfort others. Everyone we share our testimony with bursts out in thanksgiving and they have become less fearful. I can comfort others because I experienced God’s comfort. Once again, I learned that the life of a Christian is a life of sacrifice and we can rest in God’s love, even in bad times.
I encourage you to keep hope and faith alive in this pandemic and beyond. Do not be afraid. Trust in God with all your heart. Seek Him with all your heart in good and bad times. Remember, God is good, and He is powerful enough to turn around what the enemy meant for evil.
God loves you. Rest in his faithfulness to walk with you in every season. Remember, Jesus said, “I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20)
