Disorientation: Questions
Lord Jesus, I bring my questions to You and ask that You shape them to reflect what is truly important.
Throughout the gospels Jesus reframes the questions people ask and either responds with another question, or addresses a question that is more fundamental than the one asked. Like the woman at the well we often ask for information or practicalities. It is not wrong to do so. Yet Jesus often avoids easy answers and encourages us to take time to identify what is really important, to seek living water.
